Duarte Pimentel. Sociologist. Founding member and associate researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology of the University Institute of Lisbon (CIES-IUL). Founding member and coordinator of the Group for Studies in the Sociology of Institutions (GRESI-CIES-IUL), currently thematic area of ​​Economic and Social Development of the Company (DESE-CIES-IUL). Founding member of CR 22 Entreprise et Société, and co-responsible with Pierre Bouvier and Jacques Hamel for GT 15 Analyse Qualitative Interdisciplinaire, of the Association Internationale des Sociologues de Langue Française (AISLF). Researcher of the RITE team of the Laboratoire de Sociologie du Changement des Institutions (LSCI-IRESCO-CNRS), (2001-1990). Member of the Scientific Committee of the journal Socio-Anthropologie, Paris. Professor in the Department of Sociology at the School of Sociology and Public Policy of the Higher Institute of Labor and Business Sciences – University Institute of Lisbon (ISTE-IUL), (2012-1977), where he taught, among other subjects, the curricular units of Professional Practices in Sociology and Laboratory IV Ethics and Profession.
