Donovan Bixley

Donovan Bixley graduated in graphic arts from School of Art and Design, Auckland University of Technology, from Auckland, New Zealand, despite having been doing illustration since he was a child. From Your Friend Mozart This represents the culmination of five years of dedicated work that began when Donovan discovered Mozart's published letters. In his words, "The Mozart who revealed himself so openly in the pages captivated me. Here is a man full of life and vitality, with a unique writing style, at once invigorating and modern... vivid images immediately came to mind, and I wanted everyone to be able to see the Mozart I had discovered." Donovan lives in Taupo with his wife Joanna and three daughters, Mina, Zoe, and Sparkle.
