Dodie Smith
Dorothy Gladys Smith (1896-1990), also known as Dodie Smith, was a British writer, author of 101 Dalmatians, adapted for the cinema with considerable success by Disney.
She resided in London before emigrating to the United States, where she began her career as a writer amidst an extremely creative environment. Smith is said to be the primary source of inspiration for the musical. Cabaret, written by Christopher Isherwood.
