Diva Gonzalez, nasceu a 12 de maio de 1968, em Luanda-Angola. Residiu no Funchal-Madeira (e Algarve), com os avós paternos. Nesse tempo, havia lugar a caminhadas pela floresta Laurissilva, que depois o avô e as tias incumbiam de redigir narrativas – assim iniciou o gosto pela escrita.
