Diniz Cayolla Ribeiro
A native of Porto, he is an Assistant Professor with Habilitation at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where he has taught since 2000, and an integrated member of the Institute for Research in Art, Design and Society (i2ADS). He holds a degree in Anthropology, a master's degree in Multimedia and Audiovisual Arts, a doctorate in Art Sciences, and a habilitation in Artistic Studies: Art and Mediations. He develops an academic and artistic practice marked by the intersection between art, critical thinking, and visual culture. He has dedicated himself to teaching and research in the areas of methodology, anthropology, psychology of art, and contemporary mediations. He has supervised dozens of dissertations and theses, participated in numerous academic examinations, organized international conferences, and is the author of several academic articles in the field of arts and humanities.
