Dimitar Bechev

Dimitar Bechev é o diretor do European Policy Institute, um grupo de reflexão sediado em Sófia, na Bulgária. Anteriormente, foi bolseiro na Universidade de Harvard, Universidade de Oxford e na London School of Economics, e chefiou o escritório do Conselho Europeu das Relações Externas (ECFR) de Sófia. Tem escrito extensivamente sobre as relações externas da União Europeia, a política e a história moderna da Turquia e dos Balcãs, e a política externa da Rússia. Colabora regularmente com o Al Jazeera, o American Interest, Politico, Foreign Policy e o openDemocracy. Fez um doutoramento na Universidade de Oxford. É também professor na Oxford School of Global and Area Studies (OSGA) desta instituição.
