David Nicholls is the author of several bestsellersamong them Us and One dayHis novels have sold over eight million copies worldwide and are published in forty languages.
He is an award-winning screenwriter for film and television. He recently won a BAFTA for Patrick Melrose, an adaptation of the novels by Edward St. Aubyn, which also earned him an Emmy nomination.
The novel One day won Galaxy Book of the Year Award in 2010. Us, his fourth novel, was on the shortlist for Man Booker Prize for Fiction in 2014. In that same year, he was appointed Author of the Year node National Book Awards.
