David Farr escreve para cinema, televisão e teatro. Talvez seja mais conhecido por criar para a BBC a adaptação de O Gerente da Noite, com Hugh Laurie e Tom Hiddleston, pelo seu trabalho na série Spooks e no filme Hanna – agora um grande sucesso na Amazon Prime.
David vive em Londres e a sua primeira ficção, O Livro dos Sonhos Roubados, foi finalista do Prémio Literário Infantojuvenil Waterstones.
