Daniel Metcalfe

Daniel Metcalfe (1979) nasceu em Londres e licenciou-se em Estudos Clássicos na Universidade de Oxford. Passou um ano no Irão e na Ásia Central, escrevendo o seu primeiro livro, Out of Steppe: The Lost Peoples of Central Asia. Foi finalista dos prémios Banff Mountain Book de 2009 e Dolman Travel de 2010. As suas mais recentes viagens pela África lusófona resultaram no livro Dália Azul, Ouro Negro. Escreve ainda para os jornais The Economist, The Guardian e Financial Times e para as revistas Condé Nast Traveller e Literary Review.
