Daniel Innerarity is a full professor of Political and Social Philosophy, an Ikerbasque researcher at the University of the Basque Country, and director of the Institute for Democratic Governance.

He is a regular contributor to El País, with opinion articles. The French magazine Le Nouvel Observateur He was included in a list of the 25 greatest thinkers in the world.
