Dan Gutman é psicólogo de formação mas escritor por vocação.
Começou por escrever ensaios humorísticos, tentou escrever artigos para revistas, aventurou-se na escrita de peças de teatro e procurou editoras que gostassem das suas ideias para livros.
Mas sempre com pouco ou nenhum sucesso.
Até que a sua determinação o levou a fundar uma revista sobre videojogos, e aí tudo mudou.
Só precisava, ainda, de definir um estilo de escrita.
Quando nasce o seu primeiro filho, nasce também a sua inspiração de escritor infantojuvenil e nasce o seu estilo de escrita, que o próprio autor define como sendo… doido!
