Cormac McCarthy
Cormac McCarthy (born Charles Joseph McCarthy Jr., Rhode Island, July 20, 1933 – Santa Fe, June 13, 2023). He attended the University of Tennessee, which he left to join the Air Force.
He lived in Santa Fe, in the south of the United States, with his wife and son. He is the author of nine novels. In Relógio D'Água he has published O Filho de Deus, O Guarda do Pomar and Meridian of Blood.
His favorite novel was Moby Dick, by Herman Melville.
He received the Pulitzer Prize in 2007.
