Corina Bomann autora best-seller, inicialmente formou-se como assistente dentária, mas o seu amor pelas histórias levou-a a seguir a sua paixão pela escrita. Encontra-se, desde a publicação do seu romance A Ilha das Borboletas, na linha da frente das autoras alemãs de literatura de entretenimento. Atualmente, Bomann vive com a sua família numa pequena aldeia na região alemã de Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
