Eric Corbeyran nasceu em Marselha em 1964, vive em Bordéus desde 1987. Após ter trabalhado como animador num centro de férias e depois como desenhador gráfico freelancer em publicidade, deu os primeiros passos na banda desenhada ao escrever o guião do álbum Les Griffes du Marais. 180 álbuns depois, apreciados tanto pelos aficionados como pelo público em geral, é hoje um dos guionistas mais importantes de França.
