Arquiteta de formação, estudou cinema em Barcelona e Lisboa e divide o seu trabalho atual entre a escrita e a realização cinematográfica, a ficção e os documentários. Publicou dois livros de contos, O Caderno Negro (2003) e A Fábrica da Noite (2010), e a peça Londres (2012), vencedora do Grande Prémio de Teatro da S.P.A./Teatro Aberto.
O seu primeiro documentário, & etc., foi premiado nos festivais Doc Lisboa e IMAGO’07.
A Casa Azul é o seu primeiro romance.
