Cláudia Andrade nasceu em Lisboa.
Uma das vozes emergentes no panorama literário português, é autora de vários livros de contos, entre os quais Elogio da Infertilidade, vencedor do Prémio Ferreira de Castro de 2017, Canção de Ninar (Escritório Editora, 2015), vencedor do concurso literário incluído no Motel X, em 2015, Quartos de Final e Outras Histórias, vencedor do Prémio SPA Autores – Melhor Livro de Ficção Narrativa de 2020, e de um romance, Caronte à Espera, ambos publicados pela Elsinore.
