Clara Andrade

Natural de Aguiar da Beira e algarvia por adoção, é licenciada em Filosofia e foi docente do Ensino Secundário. Depois de concluída uma especialização em Ciências Documentais, tornou-se em 1996 responsável pela Biblioteca Municipal de Lagoa. É coordenadora, na biblioteca, do Clube de Leitura. Pinta, lê e escreve. Participa em exposições coletivas e individuais. Ganhou o Primeiro Prémio no Concurso de Escrita Criativa Poeta António Aleixo, com o conto E sobre tudo, as Camélias, publicado pela editora On y va numa antologia. Recebeu menções honrosas no Prémio Literário Hernâni Cidade e no Prémio Literário Manuel Teixeira Gomes.
