Christopher Hitchens

Christopher Hitchens (Portsmouth, April 13, 1949 – Houston, December 15, 2011) was a journalist, writer, and literary critic. "There will never be anyone like Christopher," wrote [the author]. Hitchens graduated from Oxford. He is considered one of the "100 best intellectuals in the world" by... Foreign Policy and by Prospectus of Great Britain, wrote for the most prestigious publications, such as the New Statesman, London Evening Standard, London Daily Express, The Nation, Harper's, The Spectator, The Times Literary Supplement, New York Newsday, The Atlantic and the magazine Slate.
Controversial, irreverent, and polarizing until the end of his days, he was often referred to as one of the four "Horsemen of the Apocalypse," along with atheists Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, and Daniel Dennett. In addition to Letters to a Young Dissident, was the author or co-author of more than 30 books, being God Is Not Great your reference work.
