Christoffer Petersen é o pseudónimo de um autor que vive no sul da Dinamarca. Chris cresceu a ler as histórias de Jack London e a devorar qualquer livro que tivesse o Ártico e trenós de cães. Em 2006, convenceu a mulher, dinamarquesa, a mudarem-se para a Gronelândia. Chris deu aulas e começou a escrever histórias ambientadas nessas paragens remotas. Ao todo passou sete anos nesta região do Ártico, a aprender tudo sobre a cultura gronelandesa, que considera uma das mais interessantes do Mundo.
