Foi professor de inglês em Ribadumia (Pontevedra) e pertence ao conselho editorial da Faktoria K de Livros. Editou o livro de poesia Nido de amor e cuna (edição de autor, 1982) e uma coleção de contos para o ensino da leitura em galego intitulada Bulebule. Durante a sua estada na Austrália escreveu vários livros editados pelo Departamento de Educação de Nova Gales do Sul. Em 1990 publicou A fuxida dos Nenos (Ed. Sotelo Blanco).
