César Gomes

Escalhão, 1931 Monitor da Escola de Enfermagem Artur Ravara. Licenciado em Medicina-1969 na Faculdade de Medicina do Porto. Especialista em Medicina Interna e Gastrenterologia. Trabalhou com o Professor Villardel e Marti Vicete em Barcelona. Fez o curso de Ecografia. Foi assistente da Faculdade de Medicina em Luanda, e na Faculdade de Medicina do Porto. Fundou as Unidades de Laparoscopia e de Proctologia no Hospital de S. João. Cofundador da Sociedade Portuguesa de Coloproctologia. Criou as Jornadas de Medicina Gastrenterológica a Sul do Douro e foi seu diretor durante 10 anos. Fez palestras em Portugal, Brasil, Espanha Itália, Checoslováquia, Polónia e Moçambique. Publicou Via Sacra e Meditação – Traços de uma Vivência; Raia Molhada; Ontem futuro de Amanhã; Angola – o 4 de fevereiro de 1961; Ser ou não Ser... Tradições de uma Aldeia Portuguesa e O Marquês de Pombal e a Família Távora.
