Celeste Araújo
Celeste Araújo was born in the parish of Vitória, in Porto, but resided practically all her life in the parish of Lourosa, in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. A trainer in the real estate sector at a national level, she was also the sports director of a National Club and a Level 3 Table Tennis Coach. In table tennis, she became a national and international reference, with several achievements – including being a Table Tennis referee at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games (the first and only woman to achieve this feat in Portugal).
She reached the pinnacle of her career – which is not yet over – by officiating the Men's Final of the World Table Tennis Championships in Qatar in 2025.
