Cathy Cassidy wrote and illustrated her first book at age 8 as a gift for her brother, and from then on she never stopped writing and drawing. She worked for Jackie magazine and Shout magazine. She lives in Scotland with her husband and two children. They have three cats, two rabbits, and a furry, boisterous dog named Kelpie.
