Catherine Barr
Catherine Barr wrote her first book on evolution after searching in vain for a fiction book on the subject. She studied ecology and worked with... Greenpeace For many years she has worked in the wildlife field, especially with sea turtles and other endangered species. Fascinated by nature and the power of words, she studied journalism and became an editor at the Natural History Museum in London, where she was responsible for writing exhibition catalogs. She has also worked with various environmental organizations in the area of strategic communication for environmental and social change. Her goal is to encourage children to get involved and protect the natural world. She continues to embrace the challenge of collaborating with scientists, experts, illustrators, and editors to bring her ideas to life.
