Catarina Lelis, PhD in Communication Sciences and Technologies and a graduate in Design, is a lecturer at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, after a six-year stint in English academia where she dedicated herself almost exclusively to Brand Design and its impact on the world and how we live. She co-founded a publishing start-up and the Portuguese Association for Innovation and Creativity in Organizations. In 2013, she received an Entrepreneurship Award in Silicon Valley, USA. She has been extensively published for her work in brand design, dynamic visual identities, user/consumer experience, and ecologies oriented towards impact and the sustainability of humanity.
