Carlos Quintas

Carlos Quintas. Nasceu em Faro, onde cursou Românicas. Foi actor amador desde os 13 anos até 1971, quando foi para Angola e integrou o elenco do Teatro Avenida, em Luanda. Em 1975, estreou em Lisboa com Laura Alves. Como cantor, gravou 12 singles e ganhou o Festival RTP da Canção em 1978, como autor, vertente que abandonou em 1982. Adaptou a peça Godspell para português, em que interpretou Jesus Cristo, e integrou o elenco base do Teatro Nacional, de onde se despediu para se dedicar aos musicais: Invasão, Annie, Severa, Passa Por Mim no Rossio, Maldita Cocaína, My Fair Lady, Música no Coração, Amália, Gaiola das Loucas, entre mais de 50 peças. Em 2001, foi premiado no Concurso Inatel/Teatro-Novos Textos, com Um Baile de Furriéis. Encenou Marlenne, O Mistério do Fado e Alô É Vera. Em 2017, regressa ao palco como actor em Faz-te ao Largo e Amália, novamente.
