Carlos Morujão é Professor Catedrático da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas da UCP e Diretor do International Journal of Philosophy and Social Values, revista da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas. É sócio fundador e atual Presidente da Direção da Associação Portuguesa de Filosofia Fenomenológica, membro do Husserl Circle e da Rede Ibérica de Estudos Fichteanos. A sua área de investigação principal é a fenomenologia, especialmente na sua orientação husserliana, tendo publicado sobre temas de filosofia da consciência, antropologia filosófica e filosofia social e política. Tem também investigação em outras áreas da Filosofia, nomeadamente em Kant e em Fichte. A sua última obra (em colaboração) intitula-se The Philosophy of Ortega y Gassett: a Reevaluation.
