Carla Sofia Dias nasceu a 6 de novembro de 1974, em Coimbra.
Licenciada em Línguas e Literaturas Modernas, Inglês e Alemão, pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra.
Frequentou os cursos Successful Completion of the Professional Development & Language Skills, em Londres, no Reino Unido e Modern Languages in the Secondary School, em Edinburgo, na Escócia.
Desde 2001 que exerce funções de docência no Ensino Secundário.
Faz parte do corpo docente da Escola Técnica e Profissional do Ribatejo, em Santarém, há 10 anos, onde tem coordenado, também, diversos projetos Erasmus+.
