Carla Jorge de Carvalho é editora das manhãs da Rádio Observador desde 2019. Licenciada em Comunicação Social pela Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, começou a vida profissional na Rádio Marginal, teve uma breve passagem pela revista Visão e voltou ao Rádio Clube Português, mais tarde Rádio Nova. Em 1999 ajudou a fundar o CNL – Canal de Noticias de Lisboa, que depois se tornou na SIC Noticias, onde esteve 19 anos.
