Capicua

Ana Matos Fernandes, or Capicua, was born in Porto in the 80s, discovered Hip Hop culture in the 90s and became a rapper in the 00s.
A sociologist by training, she ended up making music her main profession and is known for her emotional, feminist, and politically engaged writing.
His discography includes two mixtapes and three solo albums, a remix album, two children's book-albums, a collaborative Portuguese-Brazilian album, and a live EP.
Over the last decade, she has accumulated shows, workshops, and social projects, winning over a very diverse audience and accumulating collaborations with various Portuguese-speaking artists.
Also noteworthy is his acclaimed career as a lyricist for various performers and his work as a columnist for the magazine. Vision (2015-2021) and now in News Journal.
