Can Xue

Can Xue nasceu em 1953 em Hunan (sudeste da China). Interrompeu os seus estudos no liceu quando os seus pais foram perseguidos durante a Revolução Cultural. Escreveu seis romances, várias novelas e livros de contos e ensaios sobre literatura europeia. Vive em Pequim. Em 2015, The Last Lover ganhou o Best Translated Book Award. Dez dos seus livros estão traduzidos em inglês, como Dialogues in Paradise, Vertical Motion, Five Spice Street, The Embroidered Shoes ou Blue Light in the Sky and Other Stories.
