Bruce Greyson

Bruce Greyson is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He was a co-founder and director of research at International Association for Near-Death Studies and editor of Journal of Near-Death Studies, the only peer-reviewed publication dedicated to near-death experiences. Her research over the past four decades has focused on near-death experiences, particularly their after-effects and implications, and she has received numerous awards. Her NDE Scale has become the standard for quantifying near-death experiences, has been translated into 20 languages, and used in hundreds of studies worldwide.
