Brian Selznick

Brian Selznick é autor e ilustrador, tornado famoso pela sua obra A Invenção de Hugo Cabret.
Para além de ser uma homenagem à génese do cinema, o romance foi pioneiro pelo facto de depender tanto da ilustração como da narração para transmitir a sua história.
Foi adaptado ao grande ecrã por Martin Scorsese (com nomes como Chloë Grace Moretz, Ben Kingsley e Sacha Baron Cohen no elenco).
Selznick trabalhou também numa loja de livros para crianças, foi marionetista e argumentista.
Wonderstruck: o Museu das Maravilhas tem estreia agendada para as salas de cinema na primavera de 2018.
O autor divide atualmente o seu tempo entre Brooklyn e San Diego.
