Brian Selznick
Brian Selznick is an author and illustrator, made famous by his work. The Invention of Hugo Cabret.
In addition to being a tribute to the origins of cinema, the novel was pioneering in that it relied as much on illustration as on narration to convey its story.
It was adapted for the big screen by Martin Scorsese (with names like Chloë Grace Moretz, Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen in the cast).
Selznick also worked in a children's bookstore, was a puppeteer, and a screenwriter.
Wonderstruck: The Museum of Wonders It is scheduled to premiere in theaters in the spring of 2018.
The author currently divides his time between Brooklyn and San Diego.
