Bill Sullivan é professor de Farmacologia e Microbiologia na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Indiana, onde estuda genética e doenças infeciosas. Investigador premiado, contribui regularmente com artigos para diversas publicações e é convidado frequente de uma ampla variedade de meios, incluindo CNN, Scientific American, e muito mais.
É editor e redator do PLOS SciComm, um site dedicado à arte da ciência e da comunicação médicas.
Em 2014, cofundou o seu próprio blogue de ciência popular chamado THE 'SCOPE', que tem como objetivo falar sobre ciência de uma maneira ligeira e divertida.
Faz também parte do conselho da The Da Vinci Pursuit, uma organização focada em juntar ciência, arte e comunidade.
