Betty Milan

Betty Milan é paulista. Autora de romances, ensaios, crónicas e peças de teatro, colaborou nos principais jornais brasileiros e foi colunista do Folha de S. Paulo, da Veja e da Veja.com, onde escreve atualmente. Trabalhou para o Parlamento Internacional dos Escritores, sediado em Estrasburgo, França, e foi convidada de honra do Salão do Livro de Paris em 1998 e em 2015. Em 2014, representou a literatura brasileira contemporânea na Feira Internacional do Livro de Miami.
Antes de se tornar escritora, formou-se em Medicina pela Universidade de São Paulo, especializou-se em Psicanálise, em França, com Jacques Lacan, e fundou o Colégio Freudiano do Rio de Janeiro.
