Bernhard Schlink

Bernhard Schlink was born in 1944 in Bielefeld and is a lawyer by training. He was a judge of the Constitutional Court of North Rhine-Westphalia and a professor of Public Law and Philosophy of Law at Humboldt University in Berlin. In addition to... Olga, his novels have already been published by ASA. The Weekend, The Reader, (adapted for film and winner of the Academy Award for Best Actress, given to Kate Winslet), Fog over Mannheim, The Return and The Other Man and Other Stories, one of whose short stories has also been adapted for the big screen. His works have been published in 39 languages. He currently divides his time between Berlin and New York.
