Bernardo Gianni

Nascido em Florença em 1968, Francesco Gianni, viveu em Prato desde o nascimento e converteu-se, como ele mesmo diz, na noite de Natal de 1992 na igreja dos beneditinos de Rosano a poucos quilômetros de Florença. Alguns dias depois foi até San Minato al Monte, iniciando o caminho do novitiate entre os beneditinos, que resultou primeiro em votos solenes e depois em ordenação sacerdotal. Torna-se abade em 13 de dezembro de 2015. Com ele começa a renovação da comunidade monástica, a abertura em direção à cidade, a receção de tantas pessoas em busca de ouvir, significar, consolo e fé.
