Ben Lerner
Ben Lerner was born in Kansas in 1979.
He is a poet, novelist, essayist, and critic. He was a finalist
for the National Book Award and the first American writer to win the Münster Prize for International Poetry. His first novel,
Leaving Atocha Station, was unanimously
acclaimed by critics, awarded the Believer
Book Award, finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book
Award in the debut novel category and the New
York Public Library's Young Lions Fiction Award.
