Aurora Tamigio nasceu em Palermo em 1988 e cresceu em Milão. Após a licenciatura em História da Arte Contemporânea, estudou também Guionismo para escrita de argumento cinematográfico e trabalhou em cinema e publicidade. É diretora da revista Silenzio in sala e autora dos argumentos das curtas-metragens L’incontro, Homefish e Signorina Forsepotevo. Os seus textos estão publicados em vários jornais e revistas. O Nome das Mulheres é o seu primeiro e premiadíssimo romance, que recebeu elogios da crítica e dos leitores, tornando-se um bestseller e confirmando-se como uma das estreias mais arrebatadoras da literatura italiana dos últimos anos.
