Aurélio Faria

Aurélio Faria, natural da Madeira, é jornalista há 37 anos. Conheceu João Garcia em Kathmandu, em 1994, e desde então tem acompanhado profissionalmente a carreira do alpinista. Ao serviço da SIC, foi o autor das reportagens televisivas sobre as primeiras expedições portuguesas aos Himalaias. Destacado como repórter multimédia na alta montanha, cobriu o projeto "À Conquista dos Picos do Mundo". K2 - a Rainha das Montanhas é o seu primeiro livro.
