Augusto Gil

Augusto César Ferreira Gil nasceu em 1873 no Lordelo do Douro e viveu na Guarda, a sua «sagrada Beira», onde passou praticamente a infância e cujo ambiente frio e invernoso serve, em constância, de cenário aos seus versos.
