Asli Erdogan

Asli Erdogan é escritora e jornalista. Vive em Istambul, sendo conhecida a sua atividade política, designadamente em defesa dos Direitos do Homem. É autora de oito livros, alguns traduzidos em países como França, Inglaterra e Estados Unidos.

Asli foi detida sob a acusação de ter defendido posições próximas do PKK, opositor do regime de Erdogan. Depois de 132 dias presa e arriscando uma condenação a prisão perpétua, aguarda agora em liberdade a decisão do tribunal de Istambul.
