É arquiteto paisagista, profissão em que foi treinado e no âmbito da qual tem cultivado uma abordagem sistémica e holística aos problemas, associada a uma ética de respeito pelos processos naturais (pela Natureza) e pelas práticas ancestrais do Homem.
Em criança acompanhou as atividades apícolas do avô e desde alguns anos dedica-se à apicultura como hobby, tendo vindo a estudar e aprofundar conhecimentos.
A constatação do desconhecimento e fascínio que a apicultura e o mundo das abelhas suscita nas pessoas levou-me a compor o livro Apicultura Urbana.
