Arthur Larrue nasceu em Paris em 1984; ensinou literatura francesa em S. Petersburgo entre 2009 e 2103, quando publicou Partir en Guerre, romance autobiográfico onde dá conta das suas ligações ao grupo clandestino Voïna, formado por artistas dissidentes. Depois de publicar várias pequenas novelas, o seu segundo romance, Orlov la Nuit sai em 2019, explorando o mistério da queda do célebre voo da Malasya Airlines na Ucrânia. Escreve para revistas como a Vanity Fair ou a Nouvelle Revue Française. Vive atualmente em Portugal.
