Professor catedrático na Católica Porto Business School. Dirige o LEAD.Lab, cuja missão é contribuir para a liderança humanizada, virtuosa e eficaz das equipas e das organizações. Autor ou coautor de vários livros nas áreas da liderança e da gestão de pessoas (incluindo: Liderança: Humildade e Soberba, Sílabo, 2019; Paradoxos da Liderança, Sílabo, 2020; Positive Organizational Behavior, Routledge, 2020; The Virtues of Leadership, Oxford University Press, 2012). Publicou artigos científicos em revistas como Human Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Organization Studies e The Leadership Quarterly. Diversos dos seus trabalhos de investigação, sozinho ou em coautoria, foram premiados, nacional e internacionalmente.
