Antonio Monegal

Antonio Monegal nasceu em Barcelona em 1957. É professor catedrático de Teoria da Literatura e Literatura Comparada na Universidad Pompeu Fabra. Licenciado em Filosofia pela Universidad de Barcelona, doutorou-se em Harvard em 1989 e lecionou na Cornell University. O seu trabalho de investigação incide sobre políticas culturais e a representação da guerra na literatura e nas artes visuais. Entre 2009 e 2013, foi vice-presidente do Consell de Cultura de Barcelona e presidente do seu comité executivo.
