António Manuel Venda

Nasceu em Monchique, no sul de Portugal, em 1968. Publicou cerca de uma dezena e meia de livros de ficção e alguns títulos de outros géneros, nomeadamente crónica, poesia e investigação. Recebeu prémios literários de várias instituições: Centro Nacional de Cultura, Câmara Municipal de Almada, Instituto Abel Salazar, Secretaria de Estado da Cultura e Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores. Já houve quem escrevesse que «nos habituámos a ir descobrindo os seus livros como se fôssemos exploradores em busca da última mina perdida da escrita».
