António José de Almeida é realizador, músico e compositor. Nas últimas duas décadas realizou mais de 15 documentários, com os quais venceu por duas vezes o Grande Prémio Internacional URTI – Paris – para Documentário de Autor. Premiado no New York Festival TV & Film Awards e no Cannes Corporate Media Awards. Best Film Vogue Award no Fashion Film Festival – Porto. Estudou Film & TV Director na Universidade do Maine, EUA, e música no Conservatório Nacional de Lisboa. Foi músico da banda Heróis do Mar na década de 80 e fundou a produtora Panavideo em 1988. Nasceu em Lisboa. Tem três filhos.
