Formação académica: Doutorado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade de Aveiro (2006). Licenciado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade do Porto (1994). Experiência profissional: Mais de 11 anos de experiência na área de desenvolvimento de produto e processo na industria automóvel, desde 1998 que desenvolve as atividades de docência e investigação no departamento de Engenharia Mecânica da Universidade de Aveiro onde atualmente desempenha as funções de professor auxiliar sendo responsável pela disciplina de Biomecânica. É autor e coautor de diversos artigos científicos na área da biomecânica ortopédica em revistas nacionais e internacionais.
